One of the righteous said:
“I have never supplicated to my Lord between ‘Asr to Maghrib on a Friday except my Lord answered it for me till I got shy.”
Abū Dāwūd (1048) and Al-Nasā’ī (1389) narrated from Jābir ibn ‘Abd-Allāh that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:
“Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim who asks Allāh for something but He will give it to him, so seek the last hour after ‘Asr.”
The “last hour after ‘Asr” today isn’t like the others because the du’ā of the fasting person isn’t rejected. That’s double the chances of our ad’iyah (supplications) being answered. Clear your schedule and make the most of this golden moment. If you have to prepare iftār, try your best to start early so you can finish a bit earlier.
May Allāh answer our supplications and make them khayr (good) for us.
