Get to Know Me
In Case You Missed it on Instagram
Hi there! My name is Sayyida, and this isn’t a where-I’m-from and how-old-I-am type of Get to Know Me.
If you didn’t already know, I’m a lifelong, passionate psychology student. Something about understanding the human mind and behavior feels deeply satisfying and powerful to me. About a month ago, I was given an assignment in one of my courses, Psychology of Vocational Behaviour, where I was asked to reflect on (and report) my personality and career fit using Holland’s RIASEC model1. We all have a mix, but three usually stand out. For me, those three are:
Social
I once thought I wasn’t “social” because I prefer quiet time and deep conversations over big crowds. But I’ve learned that being social is really about connecting with people in meaningful ways. That’s why I founded WEE Club and study psychology—to support others and build meaningful connections.
WEE Club, short for Women’s Entrepreneur Exchange, is a community I founded in 2023 where Muslim female entrepreneurs meet, connect, and learn from one another. If you fit into this category, you should join our community! And if you are hoping to, click here, I have a little gift for you.🤍
Artistic
Like most children, I loved drawing, coloring, painting, decorating, and creating things. This grew into my role as the creative and graphic designer for SAYYIDA KHALID and WEE Club. Artistic people enjoy freedom, creativity, and working without strict rules—and that perfectly describes how I love to work.
SAYYIDA KHALID is a modest clothing brand for women, which I founded in 2018. I love dressing Muslim women in the most beautiful, comfortable, and modest clothes, and I’m so excited for what I’m creating for you next.
Enterprising
My enterprising side grew later in life, mostly because I wanted freedom, especially the freedom to manage my own time and live by my own values. That led to the birth of SAYYIDA KHALID and, later, Women’s Entrepreneur Exchange. I love creating new projects and leading others toward shared goals.
Your turn! Read below for a summary of the RIASEC model, and tell me which three personality types you think you are✨
John Holland’s RIASEC model is a framework that maps out six personality types—Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. The idea is that when you understand which of these traits you lean toward, you can choose careers that align with who you are, making work feel more natural and fulfilling. Realistic types are practical doers, Investigative types are curious thinkers, Artistic types are creative minds, Social types are caring helpers, Enterprising types are bold leaders, and Conventional types are organized planners.

Hiiii you and I have lots in common haha :)
